EMO, Europe's largest machinery trade fair returns to Hanover, Germany in September 2017.
Pryor will have its largest ever stand at EMO, showcasing its latest industrial equipment and software.
This will include a fully automated, robotic marking system applying unique serial numbers to vehicle drivetrain and chassis. The system uses machine vision to automatically locate the vehicle and accurately mark the identifier. 100% quality inspection and logging is performed automatically.
Laser marking will also be on display, with high speed “on-the-fly” marking performed on parts on a moving conveyor. Used in high volume automotive production, each part can be uniquely identified, logged and traced within 0.5 seconds.
Precision, low stress, Dot Peen marking, widely used to meet aerospace specifications will be on show, featuring an innovative, battery powered system, which can be mounted in a CNC tool changer, for in-process identification of parts.
Software demonstrations will show how data capture, process control and component traceability can all save manufacturers money and time through unique part identification.
Examples of standard products for manual and machine marking will be available for testing.
