Ministress Punches Dotstress Punches Used for marking single sharp faced characters by indenting. Hand held stamps to be hit with a hammer. Ministress Punches have special rounded characters for low stress marking. Specially engineered so that lower stress levels are introduced into the component being marked. Especially for use in the Aircraft, Nuclear and Oil industries or where reduced stress marking is a requirement. Dotstress has even greater reduced stress levels and enhanced fatigue properties. Producing a character with similar nose formation to Ministress but with the added benefit of impressing the character in a dot formation. This further reduces stress levels in the component. Dotstress punches use rounded dots to form the character, minimising introduced stress levels. Ministress characters have specially rounded characters to reduce stress levels in marked components.
