Powerful self contained units which can be integrated into
a production line for use as an automated marking station
or mounted onto standard or special pedestals to act as a
stand alone machine. The modules can be mounted at any angle
and in any attitude and due to the range of power levels that
are available cover a wide range of roll marking applications.
The main slide load and position are adjustable and the marking
carriage slide is adjustable on both modules for speed as
well as stroke length. The hydraulic power supply and the
control unit from the 80 module are remotely mounted away
from the head and pneumatically or electrically driven units
are available.
Why Roll Marking?
Roll Marking has several advantages over press marking in
that it is possible to mark both flat and round workpieces.
Because only a small part of the component is marked at any
one time, marking pressure is much lower than straight press
marking. This results in less effort, reduced distortion in
the component and the ability to mark thin, delicate or uneven
components.
