Versatility is a major feature of the Pryor operation –
if our customer has a problem in identifying components then
you can be certain that Pryor will be able to offer one (or
more) cost effective solutions. In addition to the machinery,
production line systems and hand tools for which Pryor has
become famous over the years, you can also find high-quality,
low-cost accessories for use in the Warehouse, Inspection
Department, Office or Home. Included in the Pryor “Options”
range are products such as:-
Both electrically powered and flame-heated branding irons
are supplied to customer-specific orders. Typical applications
are the branding of trademarks, kite marks, part numbers and
“country of origin” information on all typed of
wood and a wide variety of plastic materials. Branding is
also ideal for the permanent identification of leather goods
such as saddles and other high value equipment, acting as
a discouragement against theft.
These hand operated presses are ideal for paper embossing
at home or in the office. Each press comes with a set of embossing
dies, with an inscription produced to customer specification.
Every limited Company needs its own Company Seal, a wide variety
of legal documents must be sealed as a mark of completion
or agreement, and most public institutions including hospitals,
schools and local government offices need some sort of verification
procedure. All of these applications can be answered by the
use of the Pryor embossing presses, suitable for use on paper
and cardboard. A range of presses is available, depending
upon the number of sheets, and their thickness, to be embossed
at one time.
Inexpensive and easy to use, these stamps are again the perfect
answer for many uses either in the office or at home. Pryor
can supply stamps with a fixed inscription, or with interchangeable
information such as date, part number, inspector’s identity,
or office branch code. The stamps can be inked either with
a separate inkpad or can be self –inking using a built-in
pad. Spare pads for both types of stamp unit are supplied
by Pryor from stock.
The Pryor range of seals are used in many industrial sectors
where security or tamper-proofing is a major consideration.
The plastic or metal seals, when intact, are visible evidence
that the product is still in the pre-sealed condition.
Sealing pliers can also be supplied, these carry a pair
of male and female embossing dies that can identify a
seal, with either a special symbol or initials. These
are particularly useful in an inspection department of
companies supplying food in bags, chemicals in containers,
and high-value parcels and cartons. They can also be used
in the security sealing of cash bags, fire extinguishes
and gas, electricity or water meters. |

Pryor has been supplying stencils and marking inks for many
years. Metal stencils are low-cost, but very durable, and
offer the obvious solution for the identification of wooden
packing cases, food and oil drums, and larger pieces of equipment
such as tents, doors and military vehicles. The standard range
covers 0-9 and A-Z, but special stencils can be produced with
any multi-character inscription or special symbol. An assortment
of stencil inks, brushes and other ink applicators are all
part of the Pryor stencil programme.
Just like a ball point pen in most respects, the metal etching
pen writes on most metals using a special fluid that makes
a very slight impression in the part being marked, and so
provides a semi-permanent impression, only erased by removing
the surface of the marked material. Quick and easy to use,
the pen is used for inspection work, temporary identification
on parts during production, and other, in-process procedures.
The pen is supplied with a spare “ink” cartridge
in the barrel, a spare set of 5 refills and a can of post-treatment
spray.
