Standard wheels have sharp faced characters, 0-9 (inclusive)
with one blank station. Allowing fast and simple character
setting - ideal for random changing inscriptions and batch
marking.

Special wheels can be supplied to mark logos, symbols
and letters. Character forms can be sharp faced, flat
faced, ministress, or dot stress.
Styles can be condensed or broad standard style or
to any special character style. Concave and convex characters
can also be provided.

Tell-Tale characters
in the wheel grooves show the actual characters
in the marking position - particularly helpful
when used in a marking press or machine.

Inscription / No. characters
The chart below shows the actual lengths for the number of
wheels and character size required using standard style and
spacing.
Small character sizes are supplied with our small frame supplied
with interchangeable steel shanks to fit a variety of machines
or for hand use. Larger sizes (> 3mm) are supplied in a
one piece frame for hand use only.
Using condensed style characters the next size up can be
used, without changing the overall length of inscription from
that shown for the smaller size, for example 3.0mm condensed
characters will give the same overall length as 2.5mm standard.
