New integrated marking solution on show from Pryor Marking Technology at EMO 2007

Marktronic Scribe Integrator MSI60-60 from Pryor Marking Technology

Pryor Marking Technology (Pryor), a leader in marking and vision solutions for traceability, will have the latest edition of its Marktronic Integrator range on Stand D05, Hall 015 at EMO this year.  The new model, the i130-25 will offer a greater marking area with a faster marking speed and can be integrated by a robotic arm which will allow marking to be incorporated into existing manufacturing and production processes.

David Ray, technical manager at Pryor said: “This compact, simple to operate machine will suit many marking applications.  Via the multilingual user interface, operators have a choice of a range of different fonts and type sizes as well as angular and arc marking, serial numbers, date and time marking.  A typical VIN number can be marked within 5-10 seconds.”

Other models in the range are the i50-25, i60-60, i150-150, i130-25, i130-40, each with a different marking area ranging from 50mm x 25mm through to the largest 150mm x 150mm.  Speed of marking is dependent on the type of mark and material being used.  Powered solely by a standard 240volt (110 volt available) electric source, all of these systems are both highly efficient and significantly quieter than pneumatically powered options.  The lead-screw driven marking head in the machines ensures that the marks made meet the rigorous demands of 2D Data Matrix code marking, up to a depth of 62 HRc (8ooHV).
