Lord Digby Jones visits Pryor stand at EMO Hannover

Pryor Marking Technology (Pryor), based in Egerton Street, Sheffield is a world-leading manufacturer of marking, vision and software solutions for product traceability.  Last week the company exhibited a range of new equipment for the first time at EMO in Hannover.  EMO is a flagship global exhibition for machine tools, and received 166,000 visitors over its six days of opening.                                                  Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham, Minister for Trade and Investment and former head of the CBI, was at the show as a guest of the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA).  As part of his tour of UK companies’ stands, he visited Pryor to see for himself the new marking and tracking technologies, using the new Marktronic 3000 Multidot machine to add his own name in Data Matrix code to a piece of aluminium. “It was a pleasure to be able to meet Lord Digby Jones and to be able to demonstrate the latest advances in our industry leading range of marking and traceability equipment.  Pryor Marking Technology exhibit at each EMO event and find this be an ideal platform to reach out to high tech industry sectors in the global engineering marketplace,” commented John Kidder, Commercial Operations Manager at Pryor Marking Technology.
