Pryor Marking Technology to show the latest additions to its marking and vision range at Airtec 2007, Frankfurt

The new LOCUS can read through paint

Pryor Marking Technology (Pryor), a leading provider of marking, vision and software systems will be showing the latest additions to its product range on Stand E22, Hall 3 at Airtec being held in Frankfurt from October 23 -26, 2007. Among the products on the stand will be LOCUS, a new low-cost, ultrasound hand-held code reader which is able to decode Data Matrix marks concealed by paint or other industrial coatings including oil and grease, to a depth in excess of 1mm. 
                          
John Kidder, commercial operations manager at Pryor, commented: ”The aerospace industry has pioneered the use of marking and traceability and has set the standards that other industries are now following.  This show is the ideal platform for us to exhibit the breadth of our expertise and our latest solutions to some of the problems being encountered in this field.”

Other products on the stand include the new Marktronic™ 3000 Multidot, a highly configurable, fully programmable dot marking machine which is integrated with a camera and the latest mark verification software, VeriSmart™.  This has been specially designed to help aerospace manufacturers meet the stringent requirements of latest IUID and Spec 2000 standards. Also in operation will be the new Marktronic™ 3000 Integrator and Marktronic™ SilentScribe product ranges.  Alongside the marking products, visitors will also be able to see products including DataMouse™ Pro from Absolute Vision, part of the Pryor group and a leading developer of two-dimensional (2D) code reading and machine vision solutions.
