SECUREX DEBUT FOR BRITISH MADE MARKING INNOVATIONS

Sheffield-based marking specialist, Edward Pryor & Son, will demonstrate innovative products from its highly-acclaimed range of industrial and commercial component marking systems on stand A63 at Securex 2001. A world leader in the design and manufacture of both manual and fully automated marking systems, Pryor will exhibit products ideally suited to a wide range of security applications.

As well as Pryor's traditional precision-made low-cost manual punches, famed for their long-life and ease-of-use, staff from the 150 year-old company will demonstrate its innovative yet affordable LD2 Portadot. This uniquely ergonomic, hand-held dot matrix marker combines speed and manoeuvrability in a programmable package designed to deliver dramatic reductions in product cycle time for the marking of identification and serial numbers on large, difficult to move items.

Pryor's Marktronic Markmate system generates up to 2 characters per second, for highly accurate straight line, angular and circular dot matrix marking on a wide range of materials including metals and plastics. User-friendly software complements low noise emissions and a high resolution LCD screen, making this an exceptionally funtional and versatile machine, ideal for those seeking a cost efficient alternative to hand stamping.

Edward Pryor's Machinery Sales Team Leader, Paul Bowler, explained, "Pryor's unrivalled design expertise and commitment to manufacturing excellence have led to the development of affordable high-performance solutions for a wide range of security marking applications. Comprehensive service agreements and the provision of first class technical support only add to the appeal Pryor's class leading marking innovations".
