Shell Casing

Many of our products are used in marking, identification and traceability solutions, but the accuracy and flexibility of marking technology also lends itself to other applications.

Shown here is one of a pair of roll marking presses used to mark very deep grooves into shell casings. The grooves are used to lock two sections of the shell together.

Nuclear Fuel Rods

Based around Pryors leading 2068 dot-marking (dot-peening) products, this system uses a customised version of our highly flexible dot-marking software to mark metal blocks used as fuel rods in nuclear submarines.

The system controls an additional powered axis, allowing the marking head to be moved to any position along the component and produce the same mark in several places.
